GRACE
We know firsthand how devastating childhood cancer can be. Parents need to spend time away from work to care for their child and at times, families can fall behind on their household expenses. During this time, families should not have the added stress of an unpaid bill. They need to concentrate on what is important. Life’s necessities should not get in the way of happiness.
Julia’s Grace® grants financial assistance or Graces to families experiencing hardship due to the direct result of a child’s cancer treatment and care.
Julia's Grace® has paid electric bills, phone bills, car loan payments, mortgage payments, and the cost of unexpected car repairs for families with childhood cancer. Families can apply for a Grace through their social worker or child life worker. Families can apply for a maximum $1,000.00 per family, per year. Graces are granted based on availability of funds for distribution at the time of the application. Our Grace program focuses on supporting families in Pennsylvania, but we do consider requests outside of this area as our budget permits. Payments are made directly to the issuer of the invoice by Julia’s Grace Foundation® on behalf of the family. Graces can be submitted using the Grace Request Form below.
