Post-Op, Day 2

It has been a great day for Julia and quite amazing to see how quickly she has bounced back. The epidural came out about 9:30 AM and the Foley catheter soon after. Kevin’s cast came off at the same time.

Julia was able to start solid food and was eating all her favorite things by the afternoon. She is on some oral pain medications and has not been complaining about any discomfort. After washing up and getting her own pajamas on, she walked to the play area. She got a bit tired around dinner time so she got back in bed and watched Mary Poppins.

She is definitely on the mend and ready to get out of the hospital. She already said that she is going to tell Dr. Mattei that she is “feeling all better” when he stops in to see her in the morning.
