Labs Today

Today, Julia had a clinic visit just to have lab work to check her counts. All of her counts were good. Her ANC level was lower that last week, but at 1538 it remained above the 1000 level which would require that we keep her away from too many people. This should be the “bottom out” period from the last dose of chemo and her blood should rebuild before next Tuesday’s treatment.

Julia is very excited to be headed to Pittsburgh on Thursday night. We will be spending a few days visiting the University of Pittsburgh with James. Julia will be spending her time at the hotel pool. She is so excited! You would think we were headed to the Caribbean. It will be a good few days for her to relax and have some fun without doctors and needles.
