A full day of scans

Julia had all of her benchline scans today. She had a full abdomen CT scan with contrast (she hates to drink this, so it wasn’t pleasant), EKG, bloodwork and exam. Thursday she will have a echocardiagram as they didn’t have an open appointment today. All of her counts were great. We had to wait until early evening to get the results of the CT scan and great news – EVERYTHING IS CLEAR! The next two years Julia will have scans every three months. She will be watched closely to make sure nothing changes.

The next big step is the removal of her port and it looks like she will have surgery on June 22. She is happy about not having the port but more excited that her hair is just beginning to grow back.
